The idea for SÆTTER arose while Caroline was on maternity leave with her twins and had just bought the family’s first house.
One day, she found an old letterpress type case with large compartments, which she shared on her Instagram profile, filled with cups. The feedback was overwhelming, and Caroline started a small production based on her design. After only four weeks, the first 50 cup shelves, made from solid oak by a local cabinetmaker, were sold as pre-orders.
Caroline continued with pre-orders and in 2021 launched the first webshop. Since then, more shelf designs and wood types have been added, and the product range is continuously expanding. Caroline collaborates with Danish carpentries with years of experience in cabinetmaking and furniture production.
SÆTTER has since 2020 - developed into a strong danish design brand with a clear mission: to create timeless products of high quality made from good materials, handmade by skilled cabinetmakers.
