About SÆTTER

All our products are handmade from natural materials and will therefore vary in appearance compared to the images shown on the webshop. This is part of their charm and is not considered a defect. All SÆTTER products are designed by Caroline Birk Bahrenscheer. All designs belong to SÆTTER and are protected by design rights.

Prices

At SÆTTER, we reserve the right for any errors in the stated prices. Furthermore, we reserve the right to change prices without prior consent. We also reserve the right for sold-out / discontinued items.

VAT and Customs Duties

All prices on the website include Danish VAT (25%) for orders delivered within the EU. If you place an order to be delivered outside the EU, Danish VAT will be deducted at checkout, but you may be charged local VAT, customs duties, and other import fees when the package arrives in your country. These costs are your own responsibility and will not be refunded by SÆTTER. We recommend contacting your local customs office for information on applicable rates.

Payment

SÆTTER accepts payment with the following methods: Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, MobilePay Online, Visa Electron, ApplePay. Payment will only be charged to your account when the physical item is shipped unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order. SÆTTER is responsible for the goods until the product is received by the cardholder. SÆTTER uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information with the SSL protocol, meaning your data is secure and cannot be read by outsiders. SÆTTER’s own website, saetter.dk, also uses SSL protocol encryption.

Pre-orders

Please note that some products will be available for pre-order, as all our shelves are handmade. On the product page, under the purchase button, you can see if products are in stock or if they are available for pre-order, and in that case, what the expected delivery time is. The amount will only be charged to your account when the product is shipped.

Reservation of Amount

When using a debit or credit card, the amount you purchase for will be reserved. This amount is reserved until the webshop has processed and shipped your order. When the order is shipped, the money will be withdrawn from the account. The reservation period depends on the product/service.

Authorisation on Debit Cards

With debit cards, you will be able to see that the money is reserved on your account, and your available balance will appear as lower. If you or the webshop subsequently cancel your order, the webshop cannot withdraw the money, but the reservation will still apply for a period. Please note that only your bank (or card issuer) can lift the reservation.

Authorisation on Credit Cards

The money will only be withdrawn from your account and appear on your statement when the webshop processes and charges the payment for your order. All prices on the website include VAT. You can shop in Danish kroner or choose your local currency at the bottom of the website.

Delivery

SÆTTER ships goods with UPS and GLS, and you can have your order delivered to a parcel shop or your home address. Larger products are shipped with a freight company, which will be stated before payment. When your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a track and trace number. If the order is delivered by a freight company, you will be contacted before delivery.

Right of Withdrawal

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for goods purchased on the website unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order. The period starts on the day the order is delivered to your home address or collected from a parcel shop. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send an email to hello@saetter.dk no later than 14 days after delivery. In the message, you must clearly state your wish to use the right of withdrawal, and you must also include your order number. You are always welcome to reply directly to your order confirmation so we have all the necessary information. Any return shipping costs are your own responsibility.

Condition of the Item upon Return

You are liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. This means you may test the item as you would in a physical store. If the item has been tested beyond what is described above, it is considered used and of reduced value. This means that, upon withdrawal from the purchase, you will receive a smaller portion or none of the purchase price refunded. It is up to SÆTTER to assess the condition of the goods.

Right of Complaint

There is a 2-year warranty on products in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. The warranty applies to all defects in software, material, and manufacture. Complaints regarding defects and deficiencies must be reported to SÆTTER within 24 hours after receiving your order. The warranty lapses in the event of incorrect or unusual handling of the product. SÆTTER covers return costs to a reasonable extent. For returns, please contact the company by email (hello@saetter.dk). Complaints will not be accepted if they are sent cash on delivery.
